I won't be attending this game (which also features Hooter's Birthday Party) so I invite those of you at the game to post your comments below.
Temple basketball fans (and occasional commenters and bloggers) at the Pub Webb celebrating the win over Rhode Island.

Much has happened with the ChronicowlsMaestro on the road. This spectator saw the Owls first upend Rhode Island 80-67 as Scootie poured in 27 to help cover the 11.5 pt. spread. Not to mention one of the great half-time “dance the fandango” routines ever witnessed, while failing to mention the asinine Hooter’s birthday. And then, last Wed., losing Lavoy late, these same Owls, favored by 25.5, made it much harder than it needed be. Back in the rankings at #24, they quelled lowly Fordham by only 11, 77-66 (after being up 18 at the half) handing the 6-15 Rams their 12th straight L. Faint praise there. But since, Dayton’s been vanquished, and co-conference leader Richmond comes to Liacourasville on Thursday for a rude awakening, it is hoped, assumed and to be seen.
